But I find the tuts on here alot easier than the ones on Neoseeker so I'm going to try a few out and try do a few other things but here are the first crappy things done.... Thanks to a Tut.

Thanks for following my tutorial!

I like all of them! The animation is a little slow on the Brona with a background (you writing), and the background is choppy and stock is blurry on the AC: CF, but the work is good for a beginner. Great job!

I can't figure out how to paste a stock on to without white?

Fire Edit » Layer - New Layer (Transparent) - paste - anchor selection

Then delete thewhite layer

The AC:CF Stock is on the background...I just rubbed everything out on the upper layers.

Okay, to get rid of the white background to create a render:
Layer> Transparency>Add Alpha Layer
Now press "u", click on the white background and press the "delete" button.

ugh don't save imagesz as gif or jpg... png is what you need (hey! lol )

I know how to delete the background but on the stock it's a googled image and it has its own background on it... but if I start cutting out the white on paint or something else it looks choppy.

Do you know how to make things transparent and animated? Both need .gif or they don't work. And PNG makes the filesize way too high if you have even a few details. Sure, perfect quality, but the filesize is incredibly high.

Don't know what went wrong with the Stock? I blurred it underneath then repasted it on top but it still looks awfully blurry!!!

All of the cuts are off a little bit, and as you said, the stock is way too blurry. Can I actually SEE the stock(s)?

That's okay! ^_^

Everybody learns at their own pace. You're actually doing quite well for a beginner. The only thing is that the stocks are blurry. It's always good to show the stock if you think that it is blurry or not.

Also, if it was the Photoserver that made it blurry, try either the Neo Galleries or Photobucket. Both of them keep the quality the same.

Mm... I blurred the edges of them myself but I've not Idea what happened the 2nd Pikachu, the reason I blurred the edges is because the stock looked really choppy when I got rid of the background...

The 1st and 2nd Pikachu both look choppy, but the 2nd one looks worse. Nonetheless, they both look really nice for a beginner.

I might if I can find something good to work with, but probably not. A single banner that is just a repeated thing of my style with maybe one little extra part added on is not worthy of a tutorial. If I can find something, I'll add it on.

If you ever need help though, there are a lot of simple tutorials around. I also think that you can go a long way with just GIMP if you try very hard. You are very good right now, and I'm sure that you can get better.
