[GIMP 2.4.6] Cubism Tutorial

Someone requested a tutorial.

Step 1: Open up a new canvas. Any size will work for this.
Step 2: Paste on a stock.
Step 3: Smudge with the clipboard brush, and it should turn out with nothing on top and colors from the stock all over the canvas.
Step 4: Go to Filters > Artistic > Cubism. Leave it on the default settings and it should work.
Step 5: Repeat Step 4 as many times as you want.
*Step 6: Oilify.
Step 7: Make your stock a new layer.
Step 8: Erase some of the edges using the Fuzzy Circle brush. Any size will work.
Step 9: Merge the layers down.
Step 10: Add a border. add text, finish the banner up.

What's the font you used, sk?

Oh, and Mia, your stock just looks pasted on =/

Something normal. I think it might've been Arial Size 8 or 10. I don't remember. I made this so long ago it's not even funny.

Yeah, probably.

If I'm looking correctly, she didn't erase the edges on hers. So, it probably isn't blended.

Also, I'm pretty sure that is the font I used. Check and see if you like.

Exactly what I was thinking. This tutorial is basically a C+P job with a GIMPpressioist background. Totially defeats the point of a tutorial.
